CNG TANK(Cylinder) TYPE-1:These made of steel, are the lowest cost tanks, but weigh the most. These tanks are very durable and can be installed inside or outside a vehicle. Before ordering, check the weight of the tank to make sure the weight is not too heavy for you vehicle.
CNG Type-2 Tanks (Cylinders): are made of steel with a composite wrap around the center portion of the liner. They weigh about 20% less and cost more than type ones. These are good lower weight but not expensive tanks. We do not recommend to install them under vehicles as corrosion can get under the wrap.
LNG TANK (liquefied natural gas storage tank) is a specialized type of storage tank used for the storage of Liquefied Natural Gas. The common characteristic of LNG Storage tanks is the ability to store LNG at the very low temperature of -162 ℃ (-260 ¡ãF). LNG storage tanks have double containers, where the inner contains LNG and the outer container contains insulation materials. The most common tank type is the full containment tank. |
